Please see below an update on anticipated transport movements to facilitate the construction of Crystal Rig IV. Movements constitutes HGV travel to site (1 movement) and return trip from site (1 movement).
As of 16 June, we will begin transporting the turbine components to site. Sections of the turbines require to be transported under abnormal load escort by Police Scotland. This means there may be changes at short notice due to operational circumstances out with our control. A number of these movements will take place between 9pm – 7am. Information leaflets are being sent out and can also be found here. Please note that we are not closing roads, although you may experience short delays. We would like to assure you that we are working to minimise disruption locally and we encourage you to get in touch should you have any questions or concerns.
